Well, it’s a sleepy Saturday afternoon. The lawn has been mowed, the kids are napping, and I’ve been sitting on an update that I can’t wait to share with my readers!
Time for a cover reveal.
I took a bit of a different approach to the cover of Book II. This time around I hired a digital artist (Dennis Saputra) to do a completely unique illustration of a scene in The Warrens of Lotann. He did an incredible job – I was blown away by his talent, especially his ability to capture the scene I described.
After receiving Dennis’ work, I added the text and some ambient detailing. I bounced a few ideas off of Erika, then went to work, and just like that – the cover was complete!
By the way, for those of you who may be wondering…
NO, I won’t be putting out a new cover over and over with Warrens of Lotann! I like to think I learned something from the process with Door to Altharia.
